Bank of America Introduces Limitations on Credit Card Applicants

As posted earlier, the intriguing entry into the premium credit card market by Bank of America is now underway. Having entered this market, it should be no surprise that this comes with some new restrictions. Here's the breakdown:

  • No more than 2 BoA cards in a two month time
  • No more than 3 BoA cards in a year
  • No more than 4 BoA cards in 24 months

Bank of America used to be one of the easiest banks to churn credit cards with, but these new set of restrictions will limit some of the wild west, free-for-all tactics employed by churners before. That's not necessarily the worst news in the world, though. These new restrictions still aren't as bad as Chase.
