Bye-Bye Havana Nights
When Cuba finally opened the doors for direct flights from America to Cuba, several airlines lined up to plan their routes . . . so many in fact, that the market was saturated. Some airlines have scaled back the amount of their flights into Cuba. Some are now canceling all of their flights. Unfortunately, this news comes too late to prevent the production of Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights.
+ The Miami Herald offers an interesting take on the bursting Cuba travel bubble, contending Cuba should have focused on "courting" Cuban Americans back to their homeland. US tourist dollars will ebb and flow depending on numerous factors, but Cuban American will always travel back to their homeland to see family and introduce their children to the land of their forefathers. Some might even bring business ventures to the ailing economy. Like Che Guevara t-shirt shops!
