Bay of Fundy
Over 160 billion tonnes of water move in and out of the Bay of Fundy each day with the changing tide. This fact is recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records, noting the Bay of Fundy as the place on earth with the highest recorded tides.
The bay lies between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, though the highest tides can be viewed on the Nova Scotia side. The picturesque Hopewell Rocks, however, are on the New Brunswick side.
