Cathédrale MarieReine-du-Monde (or Queen Mary of the World Cathedral) is the seat of the Roman Catholic archdioses in Montreal. The basilica was built in the style of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome, though instead of the statues of the apostles which adorn St. Peter's, the statues atop Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde are of the patron saints of the thirteen parishes of Montreal.
