Kashgar

Kashgar is a city in China's far west, near the borders of Kyrgyztan, Pakistan, and Tajikistan. Kashgar was once an important stop along the Silk Road and traces its history back well over 2,000 years.

Today, the influences of its neighboring countries blend with China to create a unique atmosphere witnessed most prominently at the Sunday bazaar.
