El Floridita

Popular with American expats long before Hemingway ever stepped foot in the Habana Vieja hangout, El Floridita, or "little Florida," is best known today as an old Hemingway haunt and his favorite daiquiri bar. While often crowded and definitely overpriced, if you can find a seat, it's definitely a fun Cuban experience.

If it's too crowded in El Floridita, but you're dying for a nice daiquiri, mojito, or piña colada, head next door to La Piña de Pinto. It's less busy, cheaper, and equal in quality to its neighbor.
