While not the most traditional of South Korean foods, samgyeopsal might be the most delicious. Essentially a cut of pork from the bacon sector of the pig, this pork belly dish is cooked at your table right in front of you, and it's delicious!


Locals will tell you it's a perfect pairing for soju, though we'll let you be the judge on that. Either way, you should probably order a bottle along with a beer or two to accompany your samgyeopsal and the various soups and side dishes ordering the meal at a local restaurant usually brings so as to embrace the local food culture.
