Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park spans the Continental Divide, meaning you can step foot on the side of the rockies that push every drop of water westward and step foot on the side that will push every drop of water eastward within a matter of minutes.

The park is home to numerous hiking paths and lookouts, so even if your head explodes at the sight of crowds, you'll be able to seek out some respite on less traveled trails.

Denver and Boulder are within an easy drive, but if you want to immerse yourself in the environs of the rockies, Estes Park is an excellent launching point.
