Zion National Park

Located in the corner of southwest Utah, Zion National Park is known for its red-hued canyons cut into the landscape by the Virgin River, which also feeds some spectacular waterfalls and hidden pools.

The park is viewable by car from Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, though the most spectacular sites are only discoverable on foot.

Nearby Bryce Canyon National Park isn't far away, if you're in the area, and the Grand Canyon is a mere half-day drive to the south, if you want to see an even more majestic canyon.
